Sports Facilities Strategy

The City of Mitcham has developed a Sports Facilities Strategy to guide the future planning, development and management of its sports facilities over the next 10 years. The Strategy provides strategic direction for Council’s 27 sports facilities, including tennis and netball courts, ovals, playing fields, outdoor courts, bowls, croquet greens, associated clubroom facilities for:

Community consultation on the draft Sports Facilities Strategy was undertaken in September 2016.

The Sports Facilities Strategy was endorsed by Council on 13 December 2016 and was developed through significant engagement with sporting clubs and the community.
